Establish and manage your social media footprint! Your organization is being judged and evaluated by cyber-visitors before they make home buying decisions. Make sure that you are highlighting the great things happening in your schools for these cyber-visitors. Attendees will learn how to establish a free multi-platform (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) social media presence and free tools used to maintain a meaningful presence on all three platforms. Attendees will have the opportunity to create these accounts during the session as well as learn how to automatically connect the accounts so you can have a meaningful presence on all three platforms WITHOUT having to post on each individual account. Attendees will also learn how to pre-schedule social media posts with a dedicated Google Calendar. During the Google Calendar component of the session, insight will be provided on how a middle school of 1050 students uses multiple shared calendars to collaborate and provide transparency for students, parents, teachers, and the community. No prior social media presence required.
